The Japanese Take Amazing Care of Their Used Cars: How to Get Your Hands on One Without Spending Much of Anything

Maybe you’ve noticed the advertisements around. A few car dealers, trying to find customers any way they can, have put up signs pointing to patriotism, pushing them to "Buy American" and keep an American industry afloat. Similar things are happening elsewhere.

But bear in mind this one important fact: It’s more complicated than all that. Here are some essential reasons why.

Cars are Multinational

Most car companies are globalized to a great extent. They get much of their stuff from tons of different places, rely on China and spots where doing business is more economical to save money, and haven’t been American-made for many, many years.

Since tons of foreign autos are also created by Americans in several states, buying a foreign car also helps American industry. It’s solely the company CEOs and such who are still ‘American’ (with tons of exceptions)–and do you think you should help out the CEOs that helped get everyone into this trouble in the first place?

There Are Better Ways to Support Workers in Trouble

Propping up American automakers that haven’t been constructing great automobiles for ages isn’t going to win you many patriotism points.

Why not worry about helping out yourself first? Saving money and investing can only be carried out when you hep yourself first, not just because a bunch of company heads have asked you to bail them out.

Take This Situation Here

Here are two choices: one is a used Japanese car, brought in recently from the Japanese market, and sold in America for a good value.

The alternative is an American car, its prices cut by one of the auto companies so they can move it off the lot, all while the company itself goes into bankruptcy.

So what’s the option? Buying the Japanese vehicle will probably mean you’ll still have some money to use towards other things. It means you will have been smart in making a choice that’s intelligent and personalized, not simply giving charity to companies.

Don’t Limit Your Car Searching to Domestic Dealers

Containing some of the world’s most prudent drivers and great highways, the Japanese world of used vehicles is one of the world’s best. Use the economic crisis as an opportunity to seek out new ways of buying.

Plus, average Japanese car owners often switch to new cars after 5 or 6 years. The government insists on a very prohibitive load of testing on older cars, which makes having them much more of a hit on the wallet than possessing a used vehicle in America. Profit from the difference in markets.

As the Japanese put their cars up for auction, trusty exporters pay for the autos and organize their sale to places outside of Japan, including just about every Western country around.

If you’re searching for a new or already-driven car–anywhere you are–use the gigantic global reach of the internet car-buying market, tap into resources you didn’t know about before, and find the best vehicle for your hard-earned money. So before you go buying a new car, be sure to consider a Japanese car exporter first.

Driving lessons from family or friends

Driving lessons - learning from loved ones

Driving lessons from family or friends is inevitably less expensive than going to a professional driving tutor. However does it give you the experience for life behind the wheel?

When they begin learning to drive, most people choose to combine lessons from relatives and expert driving tuition.

That is because it means you get as much experience on the road as possible - which is important if you want to increase your confidence behind the wheel. However, if you rely wholly on lessons from parents or siblings at the cost of professional driving instructors, you could miss out on a lot.

Anyone over 21 years old, who has held a full driving licence for three years or more, can offer driving instruction. But in the abscence of formal training given to driving instructors, they could unintentionally pass on any bad manners they have picked up since passing their test.

What’s more, driving teachers will be able to pass on important help that you are unlikely to get from amateurs.

For example, a qualified instructor can help you prepare for the theory and hazard perception tests. The hazard perception test was only introduced in 2002, so any friends or family members who are experienced behind the wheel may not have gone through this.

A certified driving instructor will also know of the likely test routes and the greatest areas to practise in addition to lessons.

A driving instructor is also more likely to have the skill necessary to get people through their test, highlight areas of driving that need improvement and enhance confidence when driving.

Still, it is up to you to find the type of driving lessons that suits you best, be it professional tuition, more casual teaching friends or family, or a combination of the two. There is no right or wrong way in learning to drive so consider the options and get behind the wheel.

Not many cars beat being behind a 540hp Shebly. The Germans might have better engineering but this is about soul.

And this car is not just about powerful engine performance, She’s a looker too. One can tell the Shelby is special by many clues including the aluminium hood as well as a large central vent. Some engineering combined with sensible design sees the engine being cooled even better. VW Polo For Sale. It does make life easier in such a powerful car. With time the design of the Mustangs has evolved yet a person can still point one out. Hand painted stripes on the sides and the seats of this car are reminiscent of days gone by and she comes in multiple classic color choices.

Overall, look for great consumer reviews of this beautiful car at shows and fine Ford dealerships around the country. The 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 is sure to be a hit with both car collectors and auto consumers looking for something a little out of the ordinary this year.

Cars for Sale

I often watch how men don’t miss picking up that magazine full of cars for sale.  Some of the magazines are free, and some are fairly pricey, but it does not seem to matter. If they have cars for sale inside then they are a polular item that will not be left on the shelf.

I also wonder what the absolute magnetic fascination is. What causes it ? What draws men to cars like a moth to a flame ? While I am fairly certain that the full answer will elude me. But there are a few pointers to consider.

Firstly, there is that impression and belief that beautiful women are attracted to a beautiful car as well. If you as a male had such a car, you would by association attract those beautiful women.

Secondly, status goes hand in hand with the looks or price class of a car. A financially successful man is associated with a good looking and pricey car. Once again, by association, you would be seen by others as being successful if you owned such a car.

Thirdly, there is the element of excitement and the rush of adrenaline also associated with speed. Those racey cars that are seen in the movies that speed down the motorways or race each other in high speed chases.

Fourthly, there is that manly and macho image of a man just looking under the hood in his overalls and a spanner in hand.
I don’t think it gets much more complicated than that. It is by association that a man and a machine create a magnetic quality that is desired by a woman, and therefore also by a man. But does it start with the women ? No, I don’t think so. It seems to be an inbred thing. An instinct thing. In fact, it seems to be closely linked to that Alpha male thing.

Anyway, nobody can deny that cars for sale have become a very sought after commodity. Car dealerships have sprung up all over as a result. Car salespeople have become even the brunt and very body of jokes.
One of the mainstream businesses around are car dealers, both new and second hand, and they use all forms of advertising. TV, radio, newspapers, flyers and many other.

Of late, the online platform is becoming more and more popular as well. Car dealers who are wising up to sales trends and the buying patterns of people nowadays are realizing the value of online sales. In fact, one dealer told me that 80% of his car sales originated online. That is a very large part of his business !
Some webmasters are also wising up, and creating hubs for dealers to advertise on where a client can submit his request for a car and get response from all participating dealers on the site.

One such a hub is http://www.vaalmotortrader.co.za . It has become a very convenient way for a client to shop, without the pressures of a salesperson trying to close a deal.
I have no doubt that with time we will see a lot more car sales being done this way. Keep a keen lookout for it !

BMW Z3 Hits it Hard

The BMW Z3 burst upon the scene with lots of attention. This car looked like it came from a gun barrell manufacturing company, along with Pierce Brosnan in the James Bond flick GoldenEye shortly before its introduction for model-year 1996. The allure of this celebrity endorsement, around with all of the excitement of this being BMW’s first roadster, put a lot of popularity onto the Z3. Neiman Marcus even put this car in its 1995 catalog. The response was so strong, the BMW Z3 was sold out before it hit the showroom floor.

The public still loves the Z3, since it’s a car built for time. Although the chassis of the Z3 was stiff and not technology oriented, the Z3 is still a worthy car, just like how the Miata put new life into the roadster market. At the start, this was offered with only a 1.9-liter 138-horsepower inline-4 banger engine, a 2.8-liter inline-6 making 190 big ponies started becoming available in 1997. (One could see the difference between the two from the wider rear fenders.) The six-banger engine gave the BMW Z3 plenty of get-up-and-go, all powered with a stereo providing distinctive sound. Handling was crisp. The Z3’s ride is a great middle ground, those who want a zip of power every now and then, to Sunday drivers for comfort. For those with a few extra bucks to spend on a car, the could upgrade from the Miata.  For any Z3 with the top-down, you will need a BMW Z3 windscreen / windblocker / wind deflector.

With all this, the Z3 is not immune to shortcomings. Some interior materials were subpar and its cabin could seem confining for larger occupants because of the big, non-telescoping steering wheel and oversize rearview mirror. The worst mistake in the Z3 was a cheap plastic window that yellowed over time, reflecting poorly for the Z3. The body styling was polarizing, bringing out strong emotions on both sides.  The, for the Z3 with the top-down, you will need a BMW Z3 windscreen / windblocker / wind deflector

But these imperfections are pretty minor. If you can pick this up used, then you will find an affordable sports car without spending a major wad of cash. If you want to save bucks and get a used roadster, then the BMW Z3 is a smart choice worthy of your consideration.

Chevy Corvette Superior In Every Way

The 2006 Chevy Corvette comes as a well balanced package in a vehicle. It has set refinement in its interior and stance as well as exuding the modern sports automobile feel. For the past years, the Chevy Corvette has consequently received and bagged the Automobile of the Year award. Beginning out as rumors, the 2006 Chevy Corvette has definitely made certain that it would live and outlive the gossip running about. General Motors has made a statement the 2006 Chevy Corvette is quickest and fastest car that the company has ever produced.

This auto includes class and is a superior peformance machine. In some ways, the Chevy Corvette shows off its well-mannered and simply ride dynamics as well as an ultra-slick powertrain performance. Its interior is very much made from quality materials that provides a pleasant and comforting experience for those that would be riding in it. To extend down force, the Chevy Corvette will have a rear lip added to it and will also exhibit a more rounded trailing edge.

This new automobile has definitely profited from its advanced hydro forming frame-rail process that was first introduced to the Chevy C5. The adding in and mounting of Magne Ride shock absorbers has proved to be an advantage for it has given the 2006 Chevy Corvette an active handling as well as an innovative ride system. This automobile also bears the Chevy C6 powertrain as well as other technologies that are top in its class. The vehicle’s engine has the capacity and capability to make 500 horsepower At about 6,200 rpm. Optional is the 7.0 litre LS7 V8 engine that is hand built.

This new car would also sport several color schemes that would include white, red, and gold. As for the 2006 Chevy Corvette’s exterior, it’ll boast a more daring look that may reflect General Motor’s willingness to accept hazards when it comes to style and design. The 2006 Chevy Corvette will mix soft curves with machined edges. It will also show off its bold aesthetic design as well as its muscular form and shape from its chiseled front, muscular fenders and flares to its street dominating attitude. The vehicle will hold a full aluminum frame, large brakes, carbon fiber front fenders and a magnesium engine cradle as well as a removable roof panel.

As for the 2006 Chevy Corvette’s styling, the auto will show off great differences to its predecessors. The front end will receive a revised bigger air inlet. Also added in would be a function hood scoop, new side vents, a rear lip spoiler and really unique wheels. The vehicle also lost its power passenger seat with the electric seat bolsters. By eliminating these, the 2006 Chevy Corvette would be saving much on weight. However, what comes as standard are twin sector air-con, leather upholstery made in 2 tones, and a head up display system. Options for this car include a Bose stereo, side impact airbags, a navigation system, and polished wheels.

Earthquake victims helped by Jarno Trulli

Panasonic Toyota Racing driver Jarno Trulli made an emotional visit to the Abruzzo region on Italy this week as part of his efforts to help those affected by last month’s earthquake there.

As a native of the Abruzzo region, having been born and raised in Pescara, Jarno is raising money for the victims of the April 6 earthquake through his ‘Abruzzo nel Cuore’ (Abruzzo in the Heart) appeal.

On Wednesday Jarno paid a personal visit to Abruzzo, visiting first the small village of Onna, which lost 39 out of its 250 inhabitants when the 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck, where he met survivors who are now camping in tents alongside the ruins of their homes.

“I was shocked to see the devastation firsthand; so many buildings have been destroyed and the effect on the people’s lives is really terrible. I am doing my best to help in any way I can and everyone in Formula 1 has been very supportive. Hopefully we can raise a lot of money to help with reconstruction so the people of Abruzzo can return to a normal situation soon. They are in our hearts.”

The ‘Abruzzo nel Curoe’ appeal has already raised more than €23,000 while several items of Formula 1 memorabilia have been donated by fellow drivers and these will be auctioned to raise further funds.
